The Wahoo

Just checked out the Innova site and noticed a disc I am interested in, the R-pro Wahoo. It is a new floating disc that weighs in at 169 g, the dragon (my current floater) is only 150. This new disc is supposed to fly farther, with a speed of 12 and a glide of 6! If I were to make a disc purchase in the near future, this would be it. We have a lot of water hazards here.

New Layout

I've been trying to make the site look better and fit our awesome "new" logo. I think its looking better, let me know if you've got any suggestions. Send any pictures you want us to use as the background, this spaceman disc golfer (the inventor of the Pluto Platter, which was purchased by wham-o and became the frisbee) is temporary. Trying to get a good one. It needs to be 1800 pixels by 1600 and 300k, so if you've got any send them. More pics for the slideshow would be good too.

The Raph Man has been practicing his put and can't wait for the warm seasons to come so he can hit the real courses. He likes to vary his throws, sometimes he shoots from up on my chiropractor table and sometimes he likes to throw from the floor. He prefers sidearm throws, but sometimes he tries backhand. He can't wait to beat Jarom when they first meet head to head.

The new source

I was looking for a disc golf shop that didn't charge shipping and came across a great site. It lets you choose the color, and weight of your disc instead of just getting whatever they happen to feel like sending you. They have a great selection, have prices as cheep as any other site I've been to, and don't charge for shipping or taxes. I love this site. Hope you think of it next time you consider adding to your colection. http://www.discgolfcenter.com

The Nuke

I purchased a new disc a few weeks ago, The Nuke. It's my first driver from discraft and so far I really like it. I lost my boss in the creek disc golfing the day after Christmas so I needed a good new driver. Discraft talks up how the nuke is the largest diameter allowed for a frisbee, but it is pretty much the same size as all other discs. I was a little disapointed that it wasn't noticably larger since they made a big deal about it. I like how it flies out of my hand. the shape and feel is a lot like a boss, but it feels like it might fly out of my hand a little faster. I've only played two games with it, so I'm not sure how I like it yet. But so far I really like it, I think it will be awesome once I learn to harness its power.

Timber Park

Me, Ryan, and my father in law Paul played this course last weekend (2/16/2010) and my score was five over par. The course offers a great mix of open areas and wooded. Good tee boxes and baskets. Not too hard to find your way around. I give it eight Dragon Eggs out of ten.
